In the 2011 edition of Super Lawyers, Mark A. Momjian was named one of Philadelphia’s Top 100 lawyers, as well as a Super Lawyer for family law. Both Meredith Brennan and Lauren Sorrentino were listed as 2011 Rising Stars for family law.

Momjian Anderer, LLC is very proud of its participation in this ALI-ABA project and looks forward to the video release of this comprehensive family law overview in the fall of 2011.

On July 9, 2011, at the summer meeting of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Family Law Section, Mark Momjian was one of the speakers on the panel, “The Intersection of Assisted Reproduction and Family Law.”
On October 14, 2011, Mark Momjian will be moderating a program on social media’s impact on family law at the Philadelphia Bench-Bar Annual conference.
Mark Momjian will be speaking at the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ Divorce Conference on October 18, 2011. His topic will be personal goodwill as a factor in business valuation.

Meredith Brennan published an article entitled, “Mediation Diverting Custody Cases” in the April 2011 issue of the Philadelphia Bar Reporter. The article discussed the impact that the Good Shepherd Mediation Program is having on custody cases in Philadelphia County.
On March 9, 2011, Mark Momjian spoke at a Pennsylvania Bar Institute seminar titled, “Intimate Partners / Legal Strangers: A Guide for Representing Unmarried Couples.” Mark’s topics included the interstate dissolution of same-sex marriages and civil unions, as well as a case law update on sexual orientation as a factor in child custody litigation.

VIP’s 30th anniversary gala on March 19, 2011. Mark is a board member
at Philadelphia VIP, and Meredith is co-chair of the VIP’s Family Law
Advisory Council.
Mark Momjian has been invited to speak at the July 2011 summer meeting
of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Family Law Section. Mark will be
presenting on ethical issues involving the intersection of biotechnology
and family law, including gestational surrogacy and disputes over DNA.

In February 2011, Mark Momjian and Stephen Anderer were listed in the 2011 edition of The Best Lawyers in America in the practice area of family law.
On February 17 and 28, 2011, Stephen Anderer was a panelist with a judge and psychologist speaking on “Resolution of High Conflict Cases” as part of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute program The Intersection of Legal and Mental Health Issues in Custody Cases.
In the January/February 2011 issue of Columbia College Today, Mark Momjian (Class of 1983) is photographed holding a first baseman’s glove used by Lou Gehrig (Class of 1923) as part of an exhibit at the Columbia Alumni Center. “Lion Tracks: Sources of Columbia Athletic Traditions” includes many items from Mark’s collection of Columbiana, as well as items on loan from the Athletic Department and the University Archives. Among the memorabilia are football programs, tobacco silks, athletic medals, crew caps, a coach’s report listing Oscar Hammerstein II (Class of 1916) on the 1913 freshman baseball team, and a baseball signed by 1991 World Series hero Gene Larkin (Class of 1984).
On January 24, 2011, Mark Momjian and Lauren Sorrentino were named to the Pro Bono Roll of Honor by the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania.
On January 12, 2011, Mark Momjian and Stephen Anderer were listed by The Legal Intelligencer’s editorial staff as among 2010’s Top Lateral Hires.
On January 10, 2011, Meredith Brennan was elected Secretary of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Family Law Section.
In January 7, 2011, Mark Momjian was selected by Law and Politics Magazine as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer for the fifth consecutive year, and Meredith Brennan and Lauren Sorrentino were named Rising Stars in the same publication. Only five percent of Pennsylvania’s lawyers are chosen each year.
